Hello and welcome,
My name is Adam Lee and I am the founder of invisibleIT – a London-based IT Solutions, Services and Support company that was born out of the fact that I was between roles when the coronavirus health crisis hit and was subsequently finding the job market to be “difficult” to say the least as a result.
Rather than sitting around bemoaning my lot though, I decided to set up my own company in order to offer the type of technology solutions I have been providing for employers since 2008. I also like a challenge.
With over twelve years’ experience, previous positions have included being a Regional IT Manager for a large multi-academy trust, a Senior IT Systems Manager for a multi-site sixth form college and an IT Manager for a secondary school. I am also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in Routing and Switching and also in Voice, so have a wide-ranging skill set but If you would like to read more about my career history then please feel free to visit my personal LinkedIn page for further details.
As for the company itself, its mission is to deliver cost-effective, high-performing, reliable, robust and secure IT Solutions and Services that are integrated to the point of “invisibility”. The reason for this approach is to give stakeholders the freedom to be productive, agile and creative within their chosen field, safe in the knowledge that their efforts are underpinned by a solid digital base and not encumbered by it.
Some key values I have come to believe in and operate by over the years are as follows:
- Keep it simple
- Implementing unnecessary complexities to components – that don’t present too much of an issue by themselves – can lead to a confusing system as a whole that becomes difficult and time-consuming to manage.
- Maintain a “quiet” ego
- Decreasing the ego’s volume increases the ability to listen to others and to improve levels of humility, empathy and compassion.
- Independent thinking
- Resisting the urge to jump onboard with the latest trend for safety’s sake and having the courage to rely on one’s own thoughts to inform decision making.
If you would like a consultation, more information, or just some advice, then please feel free to get in touch by using any of the methods below. I would be glad to hear from you.
